Braga Municipal Swimming Pools
The municipal swimming pools are part of the “Northern Urban Park’ sports complex, where we can also find Braga’s Stadium, conceived for the 2004 UEFA European Football Championship.
The project contemplated the building of an Olympic swimming pool and a swimming pool with a diving platform, in addition to the administrative floors.
O FELIZ executed the steel structures constituted by main and secondary trusses, the office’s structure and the roofing of the diving platform, the pavements in metal sheets for mixed slabs, the metal grilled pavements, as well as the staircases and metallic barriers.
O FELIZ erected all the steel structures over the three areas, with steel profiles, including steel sheets, tubes and span squared galvanised metal grating surface. Our company executed the mixed slabs, the staircases and steel barriers.
It is important to stress the 46 m long, 4 m wide and 1.8 m high box girder.
Metal sheets were used in an area of 1000 m².
Total weight: 560 tons.
